Alongside venues like Fabric, EGG London has been a cornerstone of clubbing in England’s capital city.
Egg each weekend brings some of the world’s best DJ’s and live acts to London, and over the coming weeks will host line-ups that feature the likes of Dubspeeka, Mark Knight, Nick Curly, Harvey McKay, FJAAK, and Huxley plus many others.
Set up around a year ago was Egg’s record label called What Came First, which is an extension of the venues music policy, and on January 27th the label will be celebrating its Birthday with a special release.
Forthcoming for the Birthday release in both vinyl and digital format, is a special three track release featuring original music from Techno legend The Advent and a remix from Netherlands sensation Egbert.
The Advent as many will know has released music on imprints ranging from Drumcode to Tresor, and Egbert is a regular collaborator with Secret Cinema who has also released solo material on labels such as Cocoon.
